What it is

When people say a peptide is 'good,' the substantive meaning is that its identity is confirmed (it is the molecule claimed), its purity is high (little else is in the vial), and those facts are documented by testing — ideally by an independent third-party lab on the specific batch.

How it works

Identity is established by mass spectrometry, which measures molecular weight and confirms the compound matches the expected structure. Purity is measured by chromatography (usually HPLC), which separates and quantifies what is in the sample. Together they answer the only two chemical questions that matter: what is it, and how much of it is the real thing.
